Any changes in jBPM 7 Persistence.

Dear all,

I have tried to configure jBPM7 with MySQL but it still uses "org.hibernate.dialect.H2Dialect" instead of "org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect". Please note that with my configuration there is no problem in jBPM 6.x, however for jBPM7 the configuration is not working.

Any advises would be appreciated.

What steps you are following ? In 7 release only kie-server support execution of process.

My steps are from https://docs.jboss.org/jbpm/release/7.0.0.Final/jbpm-docs/html_single/#_using_your_own_database_with_the_jbpm_installer and upon server initialization I am using "-Dorg.kie.server.persistence.ds=java:jboss/datasources/jbpmDS" as well. Unfortunately in log  it is still:

2017-07-04 06:47:15,663 INFO  [org.hibernate.dialect.Dialect] (ServerService Thread Pool -- 80) HHH000400: Using dialect: org.hibernate.dialect.H2Dialect

Please note that I am installing jBPM from  "jbpm-installer-full-7.0.0.Final.zip"

except the changed JNDI name for data source you need to set the dialect too:

-Dorg.kie.server.persistence.dialect=org.hibernate.dialect.MySQL5InnoDBDialect

Hi Maciej,

I was facing this same problem but using Oracle, and Abhijit was kind enough to suggest the same on another thread I have opened. But I don't understand how am I supposed to know these settings? I haven't found anything as such in the installation guide. Could you please provide some references?
