Hi all,

I am trying to connect two different jBPMN projects with the help of signal events. But it seems to be too complicated. Can someone please suggest if there is any alternative besides using signal events?

What I am trying to accomplish: The 'Yes' answer from the human task of one jBPMN needs to be captured in another human task of another jBPMN. Please suggest ideas, tips, steps, strategies.

Thank you.

Hi Sonalika,

Your requirement can be reached with some strategies depending on how these two BPMN process works. Take a look o these options:

1. Call the second BPMN in a reusable sub-process task node.

With this approach, the first BPMN will pass all needed information to the second BPMN and will wait for this end to continue the process. You can use it in parallel too, to keep the two process working.

2. Use a REST node to send start or send the requested details to the second BPMN

Hi Rodgrigo,

Thank you for your inputs. I had another question.

Can we use sub-process for two bpmns in two different projects? For example, I want to connect BPMN-1 in Project 1 with BPMN-2 in Project 2?
