Greetings,

I changed the port number to 4001 in "JBTPreferences.java" to use IBGateway. JBT still uses 7496; is the port number to access IBGateway set somewhere else?

After running JBT, if I change the port manually to 4001, it does connect to IBGateway.

Thanks.

Hi Ali,

The preferences should be changed using the preferences dialog while running JBT. The values in JBTPreferences.java are just the default values.

Thanks, Eugene. It does work when I use the dialog box.

I am setting up JBT on a Windows 2012 Server on Amazon.

Thanks again.

I am using the Windows server on Amazon, as well. It seems very stable, with good network performance.
