Status of Convocation for the 2013-16 Batch

Dear Sir,

We are writing this on behalf of all the students of 2013-16 batch of the 3 years Masters Program held at Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management studies.

We are facing a lot of issues due to the non-receipt of the convocation certificate which was supposed to be received by the students during the start of the year.

There are a lot of losses faced by us students in terms of lost opportunities to travel abroad as the opportunities required needed us to submit the convocation certificate.

There is both lost of opportunities for the loss in terms of relocation and new jobs which are very essential for us as professionals. In other colleges the convocation ceremonies had started in the month of January 2017 itself.

Despite regular follow ups there was only one answer that we got from the staff which is that it will be done after a month.

It would be great if quick and timely action is taken and our request we would be grateful if the convocation is held at the earliest so that we get that feeling of Graduating from one of the most prestigious institutes and so that we don't miss out on any opportunities like we had to in the past.

Sir many of my classmates are in the initial stages of our careers and the convocation is of utmost importance to us as it is the stepping stone for us as professionals. 

We would also appreciate if the college would help us in placement assistance as a few of us have lost very good opportunities due to non - receipt of the convocation certificates.
