ICLP Mumbai is our off-shore Development and BPO operational unit for the Group, having been established for over 6 years in Mumbai the unit offers mainly technology & BPO services to the on-shore companies. The group builds all it’s application using only web technology. Currently the following technology are used for all its development work; ColdFusion, .Net, PHP and Java. In Mumbai we also run Analytical Services, this team provides statistical and Analytical services to all our internal and external clients.

Purpose of the Job |
Reporting to the Team Lead and working alongside other developers on major development and support projects. The role is based in Mumbai but will also have interaction with our onshore internal and external clients. A large part of the development is based on change requests and development tasks that the business requires. All systems and applications must adhere to the standards and procedures of the company and support is provided to developers to ensure that they are able to achieve this. |
Key Responsibilities |
- The resource will be dedicated to TAG project. - Provide first line of support to TAG merchants and directly communicate with merchant to resolve integration issues. - Provide first line of support to TAG affiliates and directly communicate with affiliate to resolve integration issues. - Devlopment of various feature request and reports on TAG system as and when requested. - Troubleshooting of issues faced by TAG clients and resolving them. - Carry out analysis necessary for development, maintenance and support tasks on new and existing TAG systems as requested, resulting in the production of documentation detailing technical work required for requested development, maintenance and support tasks to company standards - Undertake both unit and stress tests to ensure the quality of any development - Produce and maintain documentation describing the system such that the documentation reflects functionality within the system. - To adhere to company designated standards and best practice. - To communicate clearly and effectively with management and other departments within the organization as directed to enable visibility and understanding of the development and support work being carried out. - Any knowledge of digital advertising/online marketing would be considered a plus point although not essential. - Any knowledge of Mobile app development and mobile app tracking would be considered a plus point. |
Knowledge, Skill and Experience |
Must have - Graduate in IT or computing related degree. - Minimum 2.5 years of web application development / support. - 2+ years experience in Java - MySQL 1+ years - Experience in developing / supporting web applications - HTML, CSS, Javascript, Jquery, JSP, Servlets - Tomcat 7 - Spring Framework 3.x - SOAP Web Services
Desirable - Data file formats like XML, JSON, CSV - Subversion (source code control) - Eclipse (IDE)
Added Advantage - PHP 5.3+ - Apache Web Server 2.2+ - Drupal 7 - Wordpress 3.5+ - HTML5, CSS3 - JIRA - Junit - Mobile app development (Androis, iOS)
· Reliable, experienced Developer with at least 2 years of hands on development. · Quick learner and ability to work on your own, within a team environment & under pressure. · Experience working with Java 6, JSP, HTML, Javascript, JQuery, MySQL, Spring framework · Understand the business requirement. · Conduct thorough testing of all changes (general scripts & specific script checks). · Prioritize logs & track issues according to Company processes. · To work on issues related to usability, performance & general look & feel, in addition to defects. · Liaise with Team Leader to resolve queries. · Excellent written & spoken English & interpersonal communication. - Able to communicate in meetings with cross functional teams |
