With reference to your appended mail, please find below mentioned details regarding conducting the NSDL Brand Ambassadorship Program at your college.
1. Target audience? - Full Time or Part Time?
We are fine with both. Idea is to educate investors and both category students can be potential investors.
2. Duration of the session?
It will take anywhere between 5 to 6 hours for the entire contest to be held for about 50+ students.
3. Any feasible timings? From college perspective Saturday will get the maximum crowd
We are fine with Saturdays. We need maximum crowd to attend so as they become aware of NSDL and its initiatives.
4. Who would be conducting the workshop. His designation and profile?
Senior NSDL officials will be conducting this program.
5. Based on the promotions that college will do on behalf of NSDL, what will college get in return?
As these are investor education initiatives, what college gets is association benefit with brand NSDL. NSDL officials can then conduct programs for your staff, your other college students from other years. Going forward, we may consider giving intern ships to students (at present we do not have this practice). We may participate as sponsors in your college festival etc.

NSDL Brand Ambassador:
NSDL has been carrying out various investor education initiatives like Investor Depository Meets (IDMs), Corporate Awareness Programmes (CAPs), promotion through media etc. in order to educate the Investors about the Depository system and to get their feedback about the same. Apart from these, in order to reach out to the students, NSDL has been conducting educational programmes as workshops for students from various colleges across India. In order to popularize demat product and related concepts amongst colleges with the help of students, NSDL has come up with an initiative called “NSDL Brand Ambassador (NSDL BA)” which was launched last year in Mumbai and was successfully concluded in 8 colleges across Mumbai. This programme will involve certain contests to screen and to identify popular, bright, talented students from your college who would be able to promote concept of demat and its related products and build image of the NSDL brand & services. NSDL BA will be receiving seminars from NSDL to update their Knowledge in the financial field. Further, NSDL BA will act as face of NSDL and will spread awareness about the depository and its related features to students of his/her college. The selected NSDL Brand Ambassador will be awarded with certificates and prizes. These brand ambassadors will also help in promoting and conducting another concept called “Market ka Eklavya” contest in their colleges as per time availability. A quick brief about Market ka Eklavya contest is mentioned for your reference.
Market Ka Eklavya Contest:
This contest is designed for Students to educate them about Demat and its features with real time market experience as they will be asked to invest with a set investment pattern for students (min Rs. 100 and max. Rs. 2500) and the stocks to buy will be restricted to NSE Nifty 50 stock list as they incur low risk. This contest will be open to all students of your college. Posters of Contest can be put for display in your college premises for promoting this contest amongst your students. Further to the response received from students, workshop to brief the interested students can be conducted in your college premises for students. Further to which these students can be asked to open demat account and start experiencing the real time market behavior. Once the contest period comes to an end, NSDL will shortlist set of students on the basis of predefined criterion. These shortlisted students will have to make presentation to showcase their knowledge gained through this contest in terms of fundamental analysis done by a student before investing into particular stock etc.. Through this, the logical reasoning and presentation ability will be assessed. The winners of this contest will be awarded with prizes & certificates as per the ranking put up by respective student.

Thank you for taking up the initiative.
Motive of the event should be:
1. Bring back exe to routine
2. Let fys take the charge
3. Sponsorship for pratyaksha
As of now the Hoimee, Santy, Dhawal and Mitesh have decided to take up the event. I have my marriage next week, so would be unavailable until march.
I will write to NSDL and you guys can take the charge ahead. Others pls join, participate and help them in bringing the exe back on its foot.
