The 2014-2015 International Junior Branch Team applications are currently open. What is the IJB Team you say? Read on for more information!
The IJB Team is a group of volunteers dedicated to setting the strategic direction of International Junior Branch, developing and implementing projects to guide the way along this direction. This year, five JB Specialist positions are available and we want you to apply! The deadline is September 1st. Below is a brief role profile of each position with examples of tasks for their specialized areas.
➼ All IJB Team members: meet online roughly every month, develop long-term, strategic goals for International Junior Branch, meet in-person with all Standing Committees of CISV International from 17.-19.10.2014 in Amsterdam (travel & accommodation covered), and more.
➼ Communications: Update/manage IJB communication tools (ex. JBPedia, IJB Facebook page, email lists, etc.), create promotional materials and help promote events, etc. – good knowledge of the "Looking Good" branding guidelines and formatting skills required.
➼ Educational Content: Facilitate Branch Out and IJB's 2015 project on Conflict and Resolution, act as a member of CISV's annual content area group, work with Regional Teams on educational content, and more.
➼ Quality Assurance: Head JB SET data collection and compilation process, act as the IJB Risk Management contact, etc.
➼ Regional Teams Liaison: Facilitate Regional Team core group, act as a resource for
Regional Teams, etc.
➼ Training: Facilitate the 2014/15 Global Training Strategy, focus and develop JB Trainings, act as a training resource for IJB, etc.
