As he said its not good to change .... when you upgrade if core modifies something with this override...this will be overwritten with your latest changes....you will loose your changes...but you want to change the amount? It will be calculated internally and added to the override text....I dont think you can change the value....if any one knows how to change the amount as well please let me know....

What value you want to populate instead of the amount.  Is it going to be your internal calculation or some thing else

I dont think its possible.... but why do you want to populate your amount??? Is there any specific reason??? Why dont you raise your own local override instead of playing with the CORE.

dont change the core override activity, instead you create your own override message and solve this issue, cuz in future if any changes happen with the release you will be in problem.

If you dont want the way the amount is calculated by core just ignore it but keep the field and its value, it does'nt harm.

As a solution, you can always have an extract local field to populate your own values associated to local overrides defined.

Why not log this as a bug with Temenos instead of trying for a local
workaround.

It will ease your upgrade process and will also benefit the rest of
the T24 community who may not yet have realised this error.

John.
