I am used to working on Globus from the Globus desktop.

I would like to know how to use the telnet client - i.e. Microsoft
telnet services that comes with Windows XP.
I can login and access my menus and versions. Pronlrm id, I do no know
how to carry out basic operations from command line, e.g.

How do I:

- Commit Data, what are the commands?
- Copy
- How do I run EOD?

and lastly,

how do I recalculate values (instead of waiting for EOD)

Please assist as I may get a promotion if I prove that I can work from
commandline!

I know it is not the promotion you want but let me help you as I can

- Commit Data,  what are the commands: (use F5 for reflexion, or Ctrl + V)
-go on forward= F3reflexion, or Ctrl+f
-go back= F2 reflexion (Ctrl +B)
-leave = F1 Reflexion , (Ctrl +U)
- Copy =Ctrl + ins
- How do I run EOD= in comand line mode, go to globus and login as usual type BC(BATCH.CONTROL) after type 8 and your are done
* Reflexion is a terminal, you can download some other terminals like (ZOC, they r free on internet)
Best regards

Hi,

Point of Correction in what BENIMANA Robert sent i.e

To Copy =Ctrl + ins NO instead use SHIFT key + INS simultaneously.

And when u are with your routie through the usage JED you can use Ctrl + letter A to be at the beginning of a line and
Ctrl E at the end of a LINE; while Ctrl D twice will delete a the current line where your cursor is.

Thank u.
