question about jDLS

Hi,

 

   Anybody have done jDLS?

 

   We tried to setup jDLS here, after start the jDLS service in one server and set the variable JDLS in another server, if we type the command in both servers, system did not reported any locking:

 

  JED FBNK.CUSTOMER 123456

 

   Which means the jDLS not works.

 

  Anybody can give some clues? Thanks.

What are the values you used for environment variable JDLS on each server?

What release of jBASE are you using and on what OS?

How did you start jDLS?

In jDLS server no environment variable set of jDLS, in client the setup is :

Export JDLS=SERVER=[serverip]

 

We have identified the problem, which is that the filename in the two server should be exactly under the same physical path, if it is in relatively same physical path then the locking cannot be identified.
