T24 : Delivery Service fails to Swift Inward Msg

Platform : T24 : R09, Jbase : 5.0

I am doing a test on T24 Confirmation Matching module for only MT300 messages.
I got stuck at the first step that the delivery services fails to read the inward messages.

What I did was

1. Parked few MT300 message in binary mode to ../bnk.interface/SWIFTIN folder
2. Started the SWIFT.IN tSS
3. Also started the DE.I.CC.SWIFT & DE.I.SELECT.NEXT.MESSAGE delivery phantoms

I could not see any records appended in DE.I.HEADER folder.
Also ../bnk.interface/SWIFTLOG folder is empty.

Anybody could please help to know what went wrong?

I think it's obsolete in R09. Contract Temenos about the exact
procedure as of now.

I think inward messages will be parked in ascii mode not in binary

Hi,

As VK said no more DE.I.CC.SWIFT and DE.I.SELECT.NEXT.MESSAGE phantoms in R09. In R09 instead of these phantoms you have to pump the SWIFT messages using TCServer or jBOSS using file listeners. Once the TCS/jBOSS processed the swift message T24 will update the DE.I.HEADER record for the processed message and after that you have to run the SWIFT.IN service(Works like DE.I.SELECT.NEXT.MESSAGE) to format that swift message. While running the SWIFT.IN service based on your CM.MESSAGE.TYPE setup system will check which message types has to go for CM processing and if you have the CM.MESSAGE.TYPE record for MT300, then system will update the F.CM.HOLDING.QUEUE file.


One the F.CM.HOLDING.QUEUE updated then the original CM process will start. You have to run the CM.GET.NEW.MESSAGE phantom to update the CM.MESSAGE file and to match the CM.MESSAGES you have to run CM.FIND.MATCHED.ITEMS phantom.

Could you explain how you are processing the inward swift messages to T24 in R09 not specific to MT300 any SWIFT message?

Hi Hari

We are using R09 with Desktop and dont use JBoss or TCSever.

Our objective is, received MT300 message is used only for confirmation matching and there is no need for any underlying contract input.

All manuals addresses the setting up of inward message processing for FT with MT101 by defining OFS.SOURCE, INWARD.ROUTINE and associated VERSION names at the DE.MESSAGE level.

But our need is to receive and process MT300 to upload it to CM applications.

Can you please share possible options how this can achieved?
