Hi Panky:

I'd make a couple of suggestions...

First off, jBase is a variant of a database model known as Pick. Therefore, documentation about the general structure of Pick data and programming can be applied to jBase in most cases, and is easier to find. A good source for this is http://www.jes.com

Secondly, the jBase web site also contains a good bit of material. That is http://www.jbaseintl.com

Good luck, and welcome aboard...

Panky,

Learn PICK/MV before you try an tackle jBASE.

There are some good books online to help. Browse to:

http://jes.com/jesbio.html#books

and scroll down to the Bibliography section. There are 2 titles you
should read:

# Exploring the Pick Operating System, First and Second Editions
(Hayden Books)
# PICK/BASIC: A Programmer's Guide, First and Second Editions
(TAB/McGraw-Hill)

The Pick/Basic book is available as a free download by clicking on the
"First" edition link.

Good luck and welcome to the clan,

Hi
I work for Temenos out of the Miami office. You may want to get of
hold of Temenos Training and see what material they can help you with.
http://www.temenos.com/files/Brochures/TRAINING%20BROCHURE-03.2006.pdf
Second, you want to see if you can get the tech. user guides since
Temenos/Emerge/T24 uses a number commands that are used to wrap around
the stand jbase command example OPF, F.READ, F.WRITE etc...
