T24: How do I run COB for one company in a multi-company installation.

Hi All,

I have a multi company setup environment and i need to run COB only
for specific company. Is it possible to do that? If so please help me
how to run COB for specific company.

Hi prabhu,

it is possible. In the COMPANY there is one field called SEPRATE.EOD .you have to set this field to yes. And sign on in that comapany and create a TSA.SERVICE with a key COB-XXXXX where XXXXX is you company code.And run the COB as usual.

This is called split cob .
we can do by following steps

1>  Set GLOBAL.PROCESS = Y in SPF
2>  Create COMAPNY.GROUP
3>   In COMPANY record set RELATIVE.TIME ,SEPERATE.EOD = Y , COMPANY.GROUP , OFFICIAL.HOLIDAY , BRANCH.HOLIDAY 
4>  Create TSA.SERVICE for specific company like COB-COMPANY.CODE & START the service

Hi Prabhu,

Copy the TSA.SERVICE record 'COB' into a new record with its ID as
'COB-'the company id', and start this service insted of 'COB' this
will run COB only for the company you have created the record.

Create a TSA.SERVICE with id as COB-XX0010001<COMPANY ID WHICH YOU WANT TO RUN COB> and you need to attach a seperate TSA.WORKLOAD.PROFILE with requried agents. So before that you need to create a seperate TSA.WORKLOAD.PROFILE also. and start TSM and start TSA.SERIVCE id which you created. COB run only for this company. Let me know whether its working or not.

Hi,

Just like what my colleagues has been contributing to the issue u raised.

All u need to do is to check existin COB agent created and in place of
COB under TSA.SERVICE
just make a function copy and change COB record to COB-BRANCH ID
created for the company you intend to run the COB for.
eg COB-NG0011003.
Then set TSA to "START" and the COB-BRANCH.ID created above to "START".

NOTE: Never set COB to "START" but to "STOP"

Check if you have there is any COB ERROR(s) in the previous COB you
ran and try to correct it; otherwise you might not be able to run your
COB.

Then initiate the START.TSM -DEBUG

That company agent alone should be running.
