Hi,

set environment variable TAFC_HOME instead of JBCRELEASEDIR. It might
help.

Do anyone know how to fix this prob?

Hey,

Actually I want to know what is the problem your facing now. Coz some of these are in log are not errors.

So if you can give us server.log then I can give a solution for this.

Also I need to know what kind of performace improvements you did for browser?

Thanks,

My problem is that I cannot connect via browser to R09.

This started after I uninstalled a few unnecessary progs from my slow XP machine

What options are you ( or the '.bat' file you are using ) specifying
to the 'jbase_agent' command, when starting 'jbase_agent' ?

Specifically the parameter specified to the '-A' option for
'Authentication'

I am not setting the -A param anywhere

Where do I set it?

You need to start 'JAgent' using :

i)

jbase_agent -p 9494 -A user

if your Browser connection is specifying a 'user' name

ii)

jbase_agent -p 9494 -A account

if your Browser agent is specifying an 'account' name

and

iii)

jbase_agent -p 9494
[ no -A option ]

if your Browser connection specifies neither an 'account name' nor a
'user name' ( as appears to be the case in your original details
supplied December 9th 3:23 pm )
