T24: batch job BNK/SYSTEM.END.OF.DAY3 on job IC.COB

Dear All,

I have problem with this batch job take long time during COB on this
End of Month running COB.
Thus, please help me what is the function of this batch job ?
What this job work on ?

Why it takes long time ?

hi ,
If it is specific to monthend , then you have defined charge calculations or group account interest  capitalisation for all the accounts or for specific group of accounts.  Accruals for the accounts will also posted in the same job ...

you have to loook on your company records for charges and other T24 interest charge related table to know better.

Hi Vorleak,

 

At the end of month IC.COB process accrual entries(Interest and charges). So that will take some time than time it takes on normal working days. As of my knowledge upto R08 the IC.COB was single threaded. So that is another reason for this performance issue. Try to contact Temenos helpdesk to find any patch for this issue.

We had the same problem in our production environment, IC.COB taking
long time. Temenos helpdesk has provided us a patch to fix this
problem. I suggest you contact the temenos helpdesk.
