Hi,

I deleted the file  FBNK.BL.BILL using DELETE.FILE command.  Is there any way to recover this file

I used jstat command to check the details

File = default_FBNK_BL_BILL
Type = XMLORACLE, Version R09.1.78047, Table = FBNK_BL_BILL
Schema = T24, Tablespace =

seems I noticed after pushing the "send" button that you got Oracle as a backend.
you may replace "TransactionJournaling" with the "ARCHIVELOG" in the question I did ask.

Hi,

1. Could not you revert your Oracle database to the point before issuing DELETE.FILE command?
2. Try something like CREATE-FILE DATA FBNK.BL.BILL TYPE=XMLORACLE / CREATE-FILE DICT FBNK.BL.BILL TYPE=XMLORACLE (assuming VOC entries are there). You will not get records back however ;)
Example for CREATE-FILE should be included somewhere in the documentation of ORAdriver.

Kind regards
Pawel

Badurudeen,

 for next time if you want to delete the records first select them from application and then delete it
 and try to prevent to use DELETE.FILE command
