T24 : Attaching signature image to a customer record

Hi all,

 

I've defined IM.IMAGE.TYPE and IM.DOCUMENT.IMAGE records and put the image file to appropriate location. Can any one plc tell me how to attach this record to customer record???

Hi,

If your requirement is to link the customer and the corresponding image file then you got to define it in the IM.DOCUMENT.IMAGE record. You can define the application CUSTOMER in the field IMAGE.APPLICATION and the customer id in IMAGE.REFERENCE.

E.g:

  2 IMAGE.APPLICATION. CUSTOMER
   4 IMAGE.REFERENCE... 100391

PMJI : I wrote an article a few months ago on signature captures
with MV applications. I clarify there that signatures aren't (or
shouldn't be) just JPG or GIF images, but that applications
should also store files containing biometric data that further
helps to identify the signer.

I don't know if T24 already accommodates signature capture or
what kinds of images are stored, but I'll be happy to work with
T24 sites wishing to augment that functionality.
