T24 : DE.FORMAT.PRINT

We have MM prod. Category code 21035 and activity code 1070(rollover).
The system by default creates a DE.FORMAT.PRINT record with ID
320.613.1.GB.
I want to know how the second element of the id 613 is derived by the system.

Hi Rizwan,

I am writing from top of my head and may do not remember things well ;)

This number is an "application format" code. It is derived from
DE.HANDOFF value. There is special HEADER field in DE.MAPPING which
accepts different values. Value named "APP.FORMAT" (in DE.MAPPING
record) let you map "application format" code to DE.HANDOFF entry.
Mapped "application format" code is used in selecting formatting
parametrization record (id of DE.FORMAT.PRINT here).
Please remember that each HEADER field value in DE.MAPPING has special
meaning. It is very important to understand them.

Delivery is very complex and powerfull module. Ask Temenos, partners or
other companies :) about trainings. Lot of people underestimates this
module. It is definetely not perfect, but still powerfull.
