T24 : Make a contingent account

Hi,

I really need help to make contingent account. Can anyone help me
please?

You can set up contingent account category in ACCOUNT.PARAMER

 

Example:

CONT.DESC...... Contingent Customer Accounts

CONT.CAT.STR... 9020

CONT.CAT.END... 9999

Then accounts opening under those categores will be contingent.

63- Contingent Category Start
64- Contingent Category End

After I create that internal account, CATEGORY's AC.CONTINGENT
automatically filled with NON.CONTINGENT

And when I want to input it in ACCOUNT.CLASS, it has creates error :
"Category has to be contingent".


Is there any step that I missed?

When you set up the categories in the ACCOUNT.PARAMETER, did any of
the categories within the range 19016 to 19019 were in NON.CONTINGENT
category?

We don't have category in that range, I just created 19017 category.
