T24 : Version Definition

T24 : R06

 

There is a need to define a version where it should take input from two different applications.

One application is DC and the other is IM.

 

On inputting the Data Capture entry the client requires that a document should also be uploaded using IM module.

The client requires that both the activities has to be done in the same input screen.

How can we accomplish this? Any ideas, suggestions or workarounds?

If you want two different input screens in the same screen you can make use of  EB.TABBED.SCREEN (You can build two different screens and attach in the tabbed screen and launch this tabbed screen instead of version. But keep in mind even its same tabbed screen it wil be two different entities and there is no link .....

 

If they can complete the transaction of DC and then want to go for IM then you can attach IM screen in DC screen as NEXT.VERSION. This next version will be called after commiting DC screen is committed.

I've looking at this, and seems interesting. But I haven't found how I can invoca those screens. Can you give me an example?
