Hi pals,

It's nearing the end of a beautiful, chaotic, enlightening, inspiring, wild, intense decade. And 2009 has definitely been quite a ride. I've learned more about myself these past 12 months than I could have ever imagined.

But one thing still bothers me. And it's the way I am perceived sometimes. I wrote today's post after contemplating on the way I express myself and how that might distort people's perceptions. I try not to judge anyone, especially without knowing what they've been through, and unfortunately I don't always get that same courtesy. But that's all good. I do it to myself.

Anyhow, I look forward to sharing more of my musical insights with you next year, and I'm stoked for the adventures that are yet to come...
