Limited Functionality Async as a Holdover

While fully-loaded asynchronous JazzRecord may be as much as a month
away (I've been slacking and working on other projects), I'm thinking
of releasing a quick and dirty version that only loads zero-depth (no
associated recordds) and doesn't allow validation, migrations, or
fixtures, all of which are more complicated.
This will allow folks to make use of JazzRecord immediately in webOS/
Titanium/AIR async/etc while giving me time to work on the good
features.
Anyone care to chime in with opinions on this?
