Gained 2 lbs. last week. I had 3 professional functions that involved
food, and although I made healthy choices, and took small portions, I
didn't have the caloric output to support the input. )c: That, and
after a long, hot but not intense ride on Saturday I ate chips and
drank beer (needed the salt, retained water), my weigh-in yesterday
was doomed.

But, no matter. I learned something last week, and this week -- today,
as every day -- is a clean slate. So over I start to see if I can
lose the 2 I gained last week. Nine down, nine to go.

I wonder why this board gets so little activity? Would there be any
benefit to posting our daily workouts? Or are weekly postings enough?

So...whassup, peeps?

I also gained this weekend. It was too hot, I ran too slow and I
rewarded myself with ice cream even though I really didn't deserve it.

I think weekly postings is enough for me - work is still playing havoc
with my exercise schedule and I would not have much to report if I
posted every day.

TD: My reports are boooooooring!

I do Jazz a minimum of 3 times a week and a max of 5.

I lift weights 3 times a week. I happen to be one of these people who
LOVE weight lifting.

I'm still trying to ride my exerbike more regularly. My b*tt still
hurts even with my (padded) bike shorts!

I do the Wii body check every morning and I pay particular attention
to food if there's an up trend (Wii result is very visual!).

So, I'd post the same thing over and over!

But, I do read everyone's posts and can identify with the struggles
and rejoice at the successes!

I like to hear what you all are doing. Sorry to hear you had an off
week Deborah but you are so right, tomorrow is a new day. I'm holding
steady right now--the last five pounds are the hardest for me. I
tried to re-start my floor exercise and made my hips hurt. So I'm
resting then will start even slower in a week or so.

I too am maintaining. My exercise program is complicated by the fact that I get dizzy whenever I lie flat or get up from being on my back.

I had a precautionary M.R.I. of the brain yesterday and will see a neurologist next week. My doctor does not think that they will find anything with the M.R.I. I thought maybe I had an inner ear infection but apparently do not.

I still can exercise but unfortunately this balance issue takes some of the joy out of the endeavor.
