Has C*rves gone out of business? I never went to one, but I noticed
that all the franchises around where I live are gone. They were so
pervasive there for a while--just an interesting business model
compared to Jazzercise which consistently goes on and on.

Although individual franchises may have troubles, the company itself
is going great .. I think. I keep on seeing them going into
partnership with lots of other folks.

C*rves is a lot more expensive to get into than Jazzercise!

I personally cant figure out how these places make any money.  There is the retail lease, utilities, franchise fees, advertising, equipment (which has to be expensive, insurance, license fee, You see these places in small towns.  I just can't imagine that they get that many clients to continue to support their overhead.
