This guy has over 300 free arrangements for solo guitar at his web
site,
http://www.conservatoire-claye-souilly.net/chatbada/chabmusius.htm
Yet I never hear them discussed. As a classical guitar player of many
years but a newbie to jazz (an excited one, especially on nylon
string), I wonder how much his arrangements are played by people
here.

Thanks,
John

The free TEFView reader, for Mac and PC, which reads files created by
the TablEdit program, works fine. See http://tabledit.com/

Use File > Save As to save the file. The save dialog
will show the file name as <name>.tef.txt. Remove
the .txt extension, and confirm the dialog asking
whether you want to do that. The saved file will
then have the .tef extension and will open in
TEFView when double-clicked.

Most files on this site will save as .tef
automatically; some require this Save As procedure.

John,

There is no File "Save As" in the tef. viewer I
downloaded from that page -- also, there is no file
to save -- what I get when I click his song titles in
.tef is another browser window opens with his title
and all jumbled ASCII text ...

John, I'm sorry for such a very late reply! Five years . . . ??

I meant File > Save As in your web browser. Or, just download and, in the Finder (desktop), delete the ".txt" extension from the file name. This will leave the file extension as ".tef", and your Mac will then open it in TEFView.
