This #2 setting I've p;ayed around with to come up with a Mellow Jazz Box sound via "Jazz/Bossa Mellow Box" sound ...
2) Jazz/Bossa Mellow Box:
Volume: 0, Gain: +6
Left to Right Bands: +12, +12, +6, -6, 0, -4, -6, -4, 0, +4
Roll Treble off 25% on neck pup... Reverb and/or Delay to your taste ...

which guitar/pickup? I've been thinking about trying to tame my Strat with one of those.

I was looking at the MXR 10 band vs the Boss 7 band.
The MXR range is both much higher and much lower. My question is, can you hear that with a guitar?

IN terms of highs, probably. At the low end, take a look at the
fundamental frequency of whatever your lowest note is going to be.
Low E on a 6-string in standard tuning is around 80 Hz. Low A for
a 7th-string is approx. 55 Hz. etc.

John,
Does you or anyone else have any experience with the MXR 6 band foot
pedal style EQ?
