Alisdair,

Proving once again that jazz is a universal language! Alan Branscombe is
a fine pianist, and Dave Goldberg is an interesting mix of influences, with
his own thrown in as well. Great stuff!!! On a side note, I've put some
Golson tunes in my band's books, and they're pretty challenging...

Along Came Betty will keep you awake! I love Benny Golson. He was an early and big influence on me. Sadly his recordings don't truly reflect what he is capable of sometimes.
