Hey Jazzbuddies,

Western Connecticut State University (WCSU) and Litchfield Performing Arts (LPA) presents the 12th Annual Jazz Festival featuring Roy Haynes and Paquito D'Rivera. Boston-born Haynes will perform with his Fountain of Youth Quartet, featuring Jaleel Shaw (saxophone), Martin Bejerano (piano) and David Wong (bass). In addition, the WCSU Jazz Orchestra will perform with multiple-Grammy Award-winning artist Paquito D'Rivera. Two outstanding high school big bands selected during the festival will also perform.

And don't miss an All-Star Jam Session featuring the festival's clinicians — Conrad Herwig (trombone), Dave Stryker (guitar), Terrell Stafford (trumpet), Matt Wilson (drums), Jeff Hellmer (piano), Dave Ruffels (bass), Jimmy Greene and Don Braden (saxophone).

Thursday, April 26, 2007 @7pm (All-Star Clinicians Concert)
Friday, April 27, 2007 @7pm (Paquito D'Rivera - Clarinet with the WCSU Jazz Orchestra)
Saturday, April 28, 2007 @7pm ( Roy Haynes and the Fountain of Youth Quartet)

COST:
Tickets for each evening concert will be $15 for adults and $10 for senior citizens and non-WestConn students who are not participating in the festival.
