VAG blocks and Arduino

I see you have made loads of progress of accessing the VAG measuring blocks, but is limited by the ELM327 deficiencies.

I am developing an arduino project which will connect to my OBD port and wish to access some measuring blocks.

Going to use a CAN-bus controller such as http://www.skpang.co.uk/catalog/arduino-canbus-shield-with-usd-card-holder-p-706.html

Do you have any experience with Arduino code, how easily do you think it would be to port this should port vag-blocks across as a library?

I am just getting to grips with the basics of arduino code!

Ok, the VAG-Blocks code looks very similar in syntax to Arduino IDE. Is it C++ ?

Maybe there is hope of a port some day!
