I would agree that 4:00 works best for night games and 2 hours prior for afternoon games. This way it has time to be linked and spread, but doesn't get buried by any new posts.
Additionally, I'd like to propose that any new posts published while the game thread is active not be tagged as "FEATURED" unless it is a piece of breaking news. This way, the thread gets a chance to thrive while the game is active and it is the first that grabs incoming direct visits during the game.
I believe that this, once it catches on, will be a big boon to garnering a larger, repeat audience. Couple our improv insight with our knowledge of the team and its system, and we have a winning recipe.
Does everyone agree with this sentiment?

Correct. Still use "Popular" and it will appear just to the right. Again though, only during an active game thread time. If the post can be scheduled for afterward or for early the next morning, that may be better.

Hey MMB,I'd check out the Giants promotions too, they've had some good ones so far this year (replica World Series Rings Day; Sergio Romo Gnome Day this past Sunday)

Alex, I've got a piece that's good to go for tomorrow as well (about the great "clutch" performances in Blue Jays history). I'm going to tentatively schedule it to post at 2, but if for some reason you get delayed let me know and I can throw mine up early and give you the afternoon slot.

Alright man I'll keep you apprised of where I am later tonight and then we can switch slots if need be, also looking forward to reading about Zaun's walkoff slam in that clutch piece

For Sunday, I'll be moving my weekly AL Feast feature to around noon. That way, I can get an accurate record of each AL East team as of Saturday night, as sometimes (read: almost every time) the Yankees or Red Sox play Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN and screw things up a bit.

I got a thing going looking at Jays pitching prospects vs other teams in the division sort of dealio for whenever theres a spot tomorrow or monday if tomorrow is jammed up

Gentlemen,As discussed earlier today, and as previously mentioned in the past, we ideally would like to create a schedule for posting, so as to avoid a time where we flood the site with posts at one time and not have fresh content at other times. The following link will take you to a post schedule I drafted as a rudimentary means of keeping everyone organized. You should all have access to it, but if you don't clicking on the link should prompt you to ask for permission to do so.Please take a moment and fill out what days work best for you to post, with the hopes of trying to fill in every available time slot. Keep in mind, as an editor, I have the responsibility to post once for every calendar day of the month, so my posts may fill one of the slots, but may also come at other varying times when news breaks.Thank you,Kyle FranzoniEditor - Jays Journal

I am open to topics. Was thinking of addressing the outfield situation going into the off season. Does that work or am I beating a dead horse?

Wait. I didn't know that was part of the gig. Yeesh. Jays Journal has some really intense initiations for new writers.
We needed a woman's point of view. You think you just got hired for insightful writing?
I knew it had to be something else. Can we find heels in a men's 13?
Bahaha! That was fast. Obviously, I joined a crackerjack team of investigative savants.
Do they come in Blue Jays blue?

Haha, thanks Dave.
She said I couldn't handle being a woman anyway. Not sure what that means.
