Hey, guys just wanted to give you guys a little insight and analytics for the month of February 2017. This was the first full month Chris and I was at the helm and we are both very impressed with the effort and work ethic from you guys. 

Total Page Views for January - 648,901 an increase of 139,633 page views from the previous month.

Guys keep sharing one another's work, Twitter and Facebook are your friends. Last month we had Stroman retweet an article, Grilli Like a tweet and the Osuna/Rivera comparison get mentioned to Osuna in an interview.

In closing here is a quick tutorial to load photos for the newer writers as I know a couple of you have asked.

1. Click Add Media

2. Left-hand side - USA Today Sports Images

3. Search players name

4. Select your photo and click download image.

5. Close media

6. Click Featured Image and add your downloaded photo.

Just working on something about spring training results vs real season.  Also touching on this year's decisions that need to be made before camp breaks and the club heads north with 25 players.

I am thinking about writing an article on who has stood out in spring so far. Should I wait till 10 games have been played or not?

You could... but just make sure you focus on players with the most playing time so far, unless ya wanted to wait. Doing it now is fine, you just might be picked on by someone who would say "small sample size" blah blah. Up to you.

No problem, I am a little rusty on the ins and outs of Rule 5 conditions. but think I have the basic idea. 

How do you guys see this playing out for him?

Re Sparkman - I think this is the best thing that could have happened for the Jays.  Make me wonder who wielded the hammer ....

He gets a DL stint and a 30-day rehab before the Jays have to make the roster-or-return decision.  That gives him about 2 months more to recover from his TJ surgery, and the Jays 2 months to see what they really have in the bullpen.  And for a player coming off Tommy John, the more time he has to recover before you have to make a decision, the more informed a decision you can make.
