I was going to write this up, but I've used up all my writing energy for today. Anyone else see value in it?

You did good Shaun...you did good.

I can jump on Valencia in the morning if no one else takes a flyer.

Another question is, will Lawrie ever be able to meet his full potential spending sooooooooooo much time injured or with Lawrie's injury history should the jays be looking for a replacement?

I think I'm going to do a piece about whether Lawrie is going to go the way of the Hinske. Promising 3rd baseman who fades. Different paths, etc but a comparison can be made.

good one....there has to be tons of another guys that had tons of talent but injures effected his develop, but for the world of me I can't think of one like Lawrie. Paul Molitor struggled with injured to start his career, but nothing like this.

For me, it's the organization that has to move on at some point. Hinske struggled after his ROY. Lawrie is injury prone. In both cases, the organization has to look at filling the hole.

Lawrie has all the tools. Hinskie got fat, but he still may end up having a better career than Brett. Lawrie swing is too long, he still doesn't walk enough, he doesn't use his speed to impact the game and he gets injured too much. With that said who else can we turn to? Ryan schimpf? Andy Burns? Mitch Nay is still 2-3 years away.

Like the Lawrie/Hinske comparison. Will make a great piece.

Also, Valencia piece is scheduled for 1:00pm.
