Hey Gang,
Starting a new thread here. A few things to mention:
1. If you have any predictions for the article, you have until 8 AM tomorrow to send them in an email to me to be added to the article. Does not have to be anything complicated or fancy, a few sentences or short paragraph will do and can be super bold if you so desire
2. Jay Bird Watching, a podcast associated with Jays Journal, is hosting a twitter space on Sunday at 2:00 pm EST. They asked anybody who is interested to hop on in to talk all things Blue Jays as they take on the Rangers. These guys are super awesome and we love doing things together so if you have time to tune in, I would highly recommend it.
3. This weekend is going to be huge for the Blue Jays. Lets absolutely pack the schedule this weekend as people are going to be all in for the Jays!

Now that Aaron Judge did not agree to an extension can I also write something titled something like "Blue Jays cannot afford to make the same mistake with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. that the Yankees made with Aaron Judge?" I'll have both in sometime this weekend.

An important and quick update from our bosses at FanSided.
Moving forward, please ensure any tweets added to your articles come from either a team page, MLB.com, or one of the league's affiliated Media partners (like Sportsnet). Under no circumstances are we to include any tweets other than one of those streams. This is something they have asked us to do moving forward so please ensure we are following along. We have to be a bit strict on this so please 100% make sure before you submit your articles.
Another point to bring forward is references. If you are citing a quote, a highlight, or referencing a subject matter in particular, you are required to hyperlink your sources. Chris and I are usually ok at finding where specific stats or quotes come from but this can be avoided if you hyperlink accordingly, as we always want to ensure the right source is getting credited for their work. When it comes to player-specific articles, always ensure the player in question is sourced to their stat page (pick one of the available options like BR or Fangraphs) but for larger articles that may encompass a few players, focus on the more important ones (to hyperlink) and leave out some of the players you barely touch on.Ā

I wanted to write something about this weekend too, Iām actually going to the game tomorrow night, Iām pumped! Just how the Aās have gone from dark horse contenders to fairly anonymous also-rans in the span of a few months. From the Jays perspective, they have to take advantage considering their tough schedule in April. Also the epic comeback in September not only doomed that Oakland teams playoffs chances but marked the end of that teamās (Olson, Chapman, Manaea etc.) competitive window. And Saturday is hello kitty promo day , 2 giveaways in one weekend? Seems like the promo team knows this might not be the best weekend for attendance. A lot there I know, itāll be more organized I promise! Let me know thanks!

Sure can. The only thing Iād mention is to make sure you put a hard cap on it (ex player had a minimum of XX pitches or PAs) otherwise it can get out of hand crazy fast (from personal experience).
