Dear Member or Potential Member of JCI,

On behalf of the 2008 Secretary General of JCI Tshwane, I am extending to you the invitation to our New Members Workshop 3rd Part.

Please, find the invitation attached.

On the meeting happening this coming Saturday... we will have some potential members making presentations (15min). This is one important requirement in how to become a member in JCI Tshwane. If you are interested in making yours, please let us know and we will reserve a spot for you. The reason why we want potential members to make a presentation in a free topic is to know our future members better and allow you to show your full potential and skills. In JCI, we want to BE BETTER!!!

I personally recommend you to attend the training "New Members Project" by our Prime Trainer and Vice-President of JCI South Africa Mr. Tshepo Thlaku.

For those ones following the process and those ones who have done part of the process in the past, here you can find the requirements for becoming a member of JCI Tshwane:

Summary on how to become a Junior for the first time…

To be from 18 to 40 years old.
Be invited by an active Junior.
Attend Guest Reception.
Fill-in the Membership Form or write an Intention letter to JCI Tshwane of becoming a member.
Attend the four trainings of the Membership Process.
Have a Mentor. The active member of JCI who invited you, preferably.
Submit updated Curriculum Vitae with Photo and one photocopy of your ID or Passport with South African Visa in case if you do not have a South African citizenship.
Have an Interview with three Juniors. You will be informed about the date and place.
Give a fifteen minutes presentation to the General Assembly or Board.
Give a brief presentation (2-5min) of yourself to the General Assembly or Board on why JCI should welcome you to become a member.
Go through the voting process on a General Assembly or Board meeting and get 50%+1 to be accepted.
Paid dues fully (ZAR450), this will cover the year in due course.
Be present on the Gala Event to take oath.

In case if you were a JCI member before or a Junior coming from another chapter, the requirements are: 1, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10 (of JCI Tshwane), 11, 12 and 13. Furthermore, to present JCI certificates and a certificate of no previous debts to JCI (you can have a witness on this matter).
