Dear Andre,

I will attend your event.

I will be coming with at least two people more.

You must consider several points, and as an advise, follow them.

First: You are using the name of JCI and you are not a legal chapter yet. There is a procedure to follow with JCI South Africa to be able to call upon meetings with the name of JCI included. Then, you need to get the legal status for your chapter as soon as possible.

Second: I will support you as much as I can and that is why I am attending your event. In my opinion if you are trying to reactivate JCI in Centurion is more than welcome. I will be there to check if you are already complying with the requirements of becoming a chapter. For now, I tell you, congratulations for being proactive.

Third: I recognize the efforts of my Senator in JCI Gert Visser, and my presence in your meeting will be mostly to support him in assisting you to reactivate JCI in Centurion.

JCI is my family and if there are people interested in join us... I, as a member of JCI, Prime Trainer, and professional will assist as much as I can.

I hope the other members of JCI in South Africa and especially from JCI Tshwane understand the importance of supporting the creation or reactivation of new chapters all over South Africa. As we discussed at the Area Conference A in Johannesburg last year. JCI is needed urgently in South Africa. We are already assisting other chapters in Mozambique, Joburg and others that at the moment do ot remember. So, count on me.

To everyone, it is in your personal capacity to support or neglect to improve your country, South Africa. We need more committed leaders and entrepreneurs!

Dear Derian,

The issues that you are addressing are completely outside your scope and would like to urge you to refrain from addressing them immediately. This is a completely NOM matter and should be addressed as such at the capacity of the NOM. As the President of JCI Tshwane and a NOM Board member, I would like to advice you that there is already a NOM officer who has been assigned to dealing with this issue and would like to encourage members of the LOM to respect the leadership of the NOM.

The position of the NOM still takes precedence and should be respected as such. As a member of JCI Tshwane, I would like to further encourage you to follow and respect the JCI protocol.

Your email to Andre has reference.

Allow me to caution you that you are totally out of line. You are a LOM
General Legal Counsel, therefore, you have no scope to meddle in NOM or
other LOM or potential LOM issues.

At the Tshwane strategic planning session we (NOM EVP and myself)
appealed to members not to RSVP for the Centurion event until a decision
is taken by the NOM. A specific question was asked whether members can
attend in their personal capacity and our response was NO.

The establishment of new LOMs and resuscitation of old LOMs is the
responsibility of the NOM EVP.

Please refrain from such behavior in future as it will have serious
repercussions.

Dear Mabel (Secretary General of JCI South Africa),

For the purpose of protocols sake, would you please advise me on the issue of repercussions according to the constitution within JCI and JCI South Africa? It would be nice to know what to be in line is.

Resuscitation of LOMs and ex-members are part of my responsibility as a member of JCI, It is more money for JCI South Africa and JCI not for me! What is not is my responsibility is to sign any documents on behalf of JCI South Africa which is the authority to carry on the procedures to make it have legal status within the JCI world.

Wherever a person or group are interested in JCI, I will be there to assist with the best of my capabilities!

And according to the Creed of JCI "... brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations..." and JCI Mission "To contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change" I am kind of in line!

When you refer to me, please refer it to General Legal Council of JCI Tshwane because this is my position. For example, your position is not National Secretary General, it is Secretary General of JCI South Africa. National could refer to the country South Africa which is not your position.
