I'd like to give a huge shout-out to Christian for pulling off a wonderful InstallFest last Saturday.  It went really well!!! It was the first one we have had in over 10 years???? 

We had over 30 people show up for the event!  We had great volunteers standing by to help people get linux installed on their laptops and desktops!  Ramon (with the patience of a god) assisted a lady with a tricky RAID issue get linux installed!  I got to blow away my parent's Window 10 OS and put Slackware on it!

Glad to see someone is using Groups. ever since Discord this place has been a place for "Crickets'. I saw a couple come in and they said we're here to see our Daughter and son in law.  I guess she doesn't visit them often. lol

I don't really use the Google groups much more, but I have made it a point to keep a closer eye on it! I appreciate the kind words from Rob. We had such an awesome time. I took lots of photos. I am working on getting them finalized then ill go to each person individually (the best I can) to ask them for permission before posting online.

The general feedback from all the attendees was..... when is the next event. And to that I have to say, soon. We are collecting data, and going to go back to the drawing board and figure out how we can make this even t better and what the optimal next date is in the future.
