Installing Linux on my Chromebook

"Hi everyone!

I have a Dell Chromebook 13 (7310)—the 'Lulu' model—that I’m looking to save from the scrap heap by installing Ubuntu.

I know it requires removing the physical Write-Protect screw and flashing the MrChromebox UEFI firmware, but I’m a bit nervous about doing the hardware side and the terminal commands myself.

Is there anyone in the group attending the meeting this Wednesday (Feb 18) who would be willing to help me walk through the flash and install? I’ll bring the laptop, a screwdriver, and I'm happy to pay a reasonable fee.
