installing jaxer

Hey,
I have been very interested in Jaxer. I would like to install the server, the best possible development enviroment (preferably eclipse) and debugging tools from github.
I am running Ubuntu 12.04 and i haven't installed apache yet (it's a fresh installation).
I have been looking on the web for a good page that gives a step by step installation guide but so far i have had no luck. Is anyone willing to make this guide or at least give me some pointers in the right direction?
It would realy be helpfull for the small jaxer comunity since it would allow more people to try jaxer and get the community growing again.
Furthermore i would be willing to put up a website for jaxer with this guide and in the future other guides for jaxer. But an installation guide seems to be a good start.
I am also looking for the url's for the online api and other usefull jaxer tutorials.
