Hello everyone, my name is Brian LeRoux. I am a software developer at
Nitobi.

You can read my blawg here: blogs.nitobi.com/brian
My twittering: brianleroux
My personal tumbl: westcoastlogic.com

I love the potential of Jaxer and only expect it to grow. JavaScript
has a long way to go to fully bust out of the browser and this is a
huge step. So anyhow, say hello, introduce yourself and lets get
crackin.

Hey Brian.

I'm Davey and work at Aptana on the Jaxer product.

Thought it would be a good idea if I joined the group.

cheers

Eh Davey -- thx for replying! I was starting to feel like the loser
who invited everyone to my birthday party in grade 3 and no one showed
up. Maybe thats a little dramatic. Anyhow, thx for Jaxer dood!

Hello.

I'm Nathan L. Smith. I'm a web developer who really digs JavaScript. I
spend most of my working hours trying to drag my coworkers (kicking
and screaming) away from Microsoft lock-in and VBScript (really!) :)
I've been working quite a lot with JScript on (classic) ASP and
Prototype on the client side. I was looking around for a good server
side JS implementation, couldn't find anything that quite fit what I
was looking for, then the next day I see Jaxer on Ajaxian. Blew my
mind.

I'm really exited to make some cool software with this thing. Thanks
Jaxer guys; and thanks for starting the group, Brian.

Hi Brian and everybody -

I'm Phil and I am a Jaxer fan. I really like Javascript on the server
side and I'm happy to have the DOM on the server. I really enjoy UI
work and I like to impress people. :-) Some of my major influences
come from Apple and Sun - I've done some small work for both. I'm not
working in a development role at this moment and in my spare time I'm
immersing myself in all sorts of Javascript projects. I have recently
been investigating ExtJS 2.0, Sun Lively, Persevere, and nearly every
server-side JS framework. Jaxer rules with HTML, CSS, JS, DOM on the
server.

I am interested in working with the Jaxer community to fresh out best
practices when working with Jaxer.

Peace out,
Phil Weaver

Hi Jerry,

I'm not sure what platform you are running on, but there is a page
that describes the steps necessary to setup Linux. You can find those
here:
