Oops! Sorry about that Jose

I shouldn't toss the crumbs that fall my table on to the old javawug list!

In other news, it has been a tough year in contracting for a lot of
people. So let's talk about that instead. I feel it is crazy time with
the state of the market, a real lack of opportunities, lots of
competition and then you hear the government and big business say
there is a skill shortage.

On the technology front, things are moving. Java EE 7 is here, Oracle
are doing good things, they are really stewarding the Java technology
now. They have won the faith that we thought was lost in 2010.
There is some growth and maturity in Scala; some adoption is going on,
but it still hard to get through the glass door, because I have found
that you really need professional recent experience.

On the business front, it is a frustrating. It is so slow ... the job
market sucks and it does not matter whether you are in permanent or
contract at the moment. If you are itching to get out from somewhere,
make sure that you really are going to land on your feet at the next
gig.

Anyway that's all from me.
