JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is currently seeking a talented mobile application developer to work on an Android application to measure network performance. The application makes extensive use of network connectivity and requires tight integration with the platform's location-based-services.
In particular, the programmer should be familiar with:
· Developing attractive user interfaces
· Using HTTP requests for fetching remote data
· Utilising the platform's location APIs (WiFi, GPS, cell towers)
· The requirements for publishing applications via the "app stores" of the platforms in question
· Working with multiple versions of Android, from 2.1 upwards
