Dear Java Simon users and fans :-)

We are happy to announce that Java Simon 3.3.0 was released. This is wrap up version of many fixes discovered by our users since 3.2 (part of it released in 3.2.1), monitoring Web Console enhancements, better extensibility of monitoring web filter and a few interface changes (probably the biggest one being renaming of JMX SimonMXBean to more appropriate SimonManagerMXBean). All these issues are covered in our list (contains also changes already released in 3.2.1):

There were also some nice concurrency improvements showing much less contention in heavy multithreading and also much lower overhead of disabled manager (that was already negligible anyway).

For Maven users, head directly here: http://code.google.com/p/javasimon/wiki/MavenSupport
Javadoc: http://javasimon.googlecode.com/svn/javadoc/api-3.3/index.html

We will take a short recuperation period now (of course fixing any bugs if necessary) and let you know when we are about to do some new stuff. You can also follow us on our Google+ page:

Enjoy and let us know your experience
