We are not able use the library after we deploy the code on our QA environment. When we do that on localhost it works fine but when we deploy the code on QA we don’t see any suggestions coming.
Please refer to below setting we have done to make it worked :

1. Added ASPNetSpell.dll in bin folder.
2. Added the license code in web.config file.
<appSettings>
<add key="aspnetspell_key" value="XXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXX-XXX.XXX.XX-XXXXX" />

3. Called the spell check function as per mentioned in the sample files.
<input type=image src="images/CheckSpellingButton.gif" onclick="$Spelling.SpellCheckInWindow('idCommentBox')"/>

4. When we test it on localhost it properly gives us suggestions ,But when we check the same after QA deployment. It doesn’t loads suggestions.

5. The only difference between QA and localhost is – QA is SSL/TLS enabled and localhost is not.
For ex QA URL - https://www.samplewebsite.com/dashboard.aspx
Localhost URL – http://localhost/samplewebsite/dashboard.aspx

I hope this library supports https enabled protocols (ex- SSL 1.1 , TLS ),Please get back to us to resolve our problem.

Hi Latesh

Can you offer a link to that... perhaps so we can debug please.

99% of the time this will be
1) lack of file read permissions
2) the include javascript file linked by http when it should be https

For the first point we have IIS_User for virtual directory who has full permissions.

And for the second point –

If you see below the way we have added its  already making https call :

I have highlighted it in red ->

Please reply what else I can look for.

Try deleting javascriptspellcheck/core/default.asp and index.php incase your server is set to preference those files over .net handlers please.
