Hi everyone,

I posted last year about our call for speakers, I hope it is OK to post again.  My name is Jason Dean and I am a member of the Steering Committee and Content Advisory Board for dev.Objective(), a local (Bloomington, MN) intermidiate-to-advanced web development conference.

If you have heard of dev.Objective() you may think of it as a ColdFusion conference (previously it was called cf.Objective()), and historically, it was. However, over the last few years the conference has become an all-around web developer conference with many topics that would appeal to web developers using any server-side or client-side language/platform. The conference has changed so much, we changed the name.

In 2011 we added a js.Objective() track, and we've never looked back.  We also, typically have a Front-End and Mobile track and general web development content in other tracks as well.

Topics you may find at dev.Objective()
 - Application Architecture
 - JavaScript
 - JS Libraries and frameworks
 - Productivity and automation tools
 - Node.js
 - Git
 - PhoneGap and Mobile Development
 - Coding Standards and Code Quality
 - Development Environments
 - Data Visualization
 - Database, Big Data, and ETL
 - Web and Mobile security
 - AMD
 - And more.

The archived schedule for the conference 2014 can be viewed at http://2014.devobjective.com/schedule/.

For dev.Objective() 2015 we hope for an even more diverse line up of speakers and topics. In the past the majority of dev.Objective()'s speakers have come from the ColdFusion/CFML community. We would like to reach beyond that and bring in members from the JavaScript and Web Standards communities and other development communities as well. We welcome you to consider submitting a topic for dev.Objective() 2015 or pass the word on to those who might be interested.  The dev.Objective() community is a welcoming group that would love to hear from those outside of our existing community and make new friends and find new opportunities in the web development world.

Some topics we may be interested in include, but are not limited to:

 - JavaScript, jQuery, underscore.js, and other JS Libraries
 - JavaScript testing (TDD, BDD, etc)
 - AMD
 - AngularJS, EmberJS and other MV* tools
 - Test and Deployment automation (Karma, Grunt.js, Gulp, etc)
 - Dependency Management
 - Front-end Development, UI/UX, CSS
 - JS Game Development
 - Front-end performance
 - or any other topic you think would appeal to a wide range of developers

This year we are running the call for speakers using software developed by one of our community members at: http://engage.devobjective.com/.  Please consider submitting a topic.  The deadline has been extended to Jan 31, 2015.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me at jason {{@}} 12robots.com

We look forward to your submissions.
