Has anyone created GWT wrappers for this library? I think this would
be very cool!

Hi,

I think this request has been done before, but I don't really know if
someone ported this library to GWT.

Unfortunately I can't do it... I'm too busy building this library and
I also have a day job :S

I would never die for my beliefs because I might be wrong.

It looks like nothing currenly may match JIT with features or cuteness
=) Even Flash graphs are not so nice-to-use.
I will try to implement GWT interfrace for your project:

Please let me know if someone is willing to participate. You are
welcome!

By the way, Nico,

Have you concidered updating your API to match Google's (javascript)
Visualization API?
http://code.google.com/intl/ru-RU/apis/visualization/documentation/dev/index.html#implementthevisualization

It looks like they've done a grat job of unifying and documenting
common parts of all visualizations (e.g. style settings, resizing,
etc.). So, you might make your code even smaller and more easy to
implement as GWT widget =)

Hi,

Congrats for opening that gwt project :)

Thanks for the link, I'll take a look at that. It seems that their
visualizations are kind of simpler than the ones exposed by the JIT.
However there are some things (like zooming) that belong to all
visualizations (api-wise).

I'll take a look at it to see if I can find something inspiring for
the design of the JIT.

Thanks,

Hi,

also thanks from me for starting of the gwt-graph project.

Because I had to find a jit + gwt solution quickly in the last couple
of days I came up with a couple of simple classes.

Since it's description is rather lengthy I posted it in a blog:

http://weltermann17.wordpress.com/2009/07/02/jit-gwt-a-low-cost-solution-2/

Please have a look and feel free to use as is.

Regards,
Guido.
