Cropper problem in a Table

In IE7, when starting the cropper, the image blinks and disappears. It
get covered by a gray rectangle and the cropper selection rectangle
appears in white. The only way we got it to work (in IE7) was to move
it out of a <table> tag.
Has anyone encountered this issue? any solution?
BTW, it works great with FireFox!

IE ignores script tags within table tags.
