For what I see, if I go the route of using GlobalizeJS on the Browser side, then I need to load the CLDR Data, in case I use MessageFormat then I need to load most of the CLDR Data (for that Locale).

is the performance affected?
do we have any benchmarks vs Nodejs Server side?

thanks in advance,
Lucas

Hello Lucas,

For better performance using Globalize on the browser, I recommend precompiling your formatters and using the runtime library. One reason you may not have found it is because this is not in master (released) yet (but, it will in less than a month). To follow the work in progress, please see #436.

The best demo I have to show you right now is in the below. Although the demo is tied to the React architecture, the benefits of the optimizer (and the toolings for automatically generating translation table) are demonstrated there.
React TodoMVC Example Using Globalize For Internationalization

If you are interested on working on benchmarks, please let me know.

Did I answer to your question?

Thanks for your interest,

PS: Note you can ask Globalize questions directly in IRC (http://irc.jquery.org/) or https://github.com/jquery/globalize/ issues.
