I'm curious if anyone is interested, or could suggest a new
location... I'm also considering if some form of "online" meeting,
that gets recorded may work out better. I'm planning on getting into
a bit more on CSS3 and more on html styling and events... There isn't
much JavaScript there, but it's important to understand more about
what can be done without JavaScript, then how adding more can add
value, and maintain better usability overall.

Progressive enhancement vs. relying on JavaScript alone. I've seen a
lot of forms which rely on JavaScript actions for an onclick event to
handle submitting a form, even for a fairly large website. I think
this is the wrong way to go about things. I'll show some tips, ideas,
and demonstrate more on this in the meeting next monday. If you have
ideas on locations, or even a better day, I'd be open to suggestion...
I would suggest checking the AZGroups.org website for potential
conflicts in changing the days.

I also want to revert to one meeting a month for a while.

Monday September 6th is Labor Day so my guess is that there won't be
much of a turnout. I could make it on Thursday the 9th if that works
for others...

To get stronger attendance, I would suggest setting up a meetup group
as well. We've used it pretty effectively for planning London Ajax.
Twitter also works great for grabbing attention and promoting the
events obviously. Also, I might suggest something like
http://www.meetup.com/londonajax/calendar/14449749/ , e.g. an event on
a Saturday when people aren't rushing to make it from work. Plan it a
couple of months out so people can schedule around family events,
etc., get a few great speakers, and run it BarCamp style, etc.
