March 1st Meeting

Just a reminder that the first meeting will be on march first. It'll
be more of an introduction to JS meeting, with a more advanced
followup two weeks later. I'll try to get a syllabus up tomorrow.
The plan is to get a syllabus for the next meeting a week before said
meeting, and a post-mortem review within two days after.

Again, if anyone is interested in presenting for either of the jQuery
meetings in April, let me know.

.. by "up to mid-level" I mean I have used it extensively and have written
some plug-ins, but I don't know its newer or very advanced intricacies. I'd
be happy to present both sessions, but only if someone else doesn't come
along and offer to do it.

jQuery and jQueryUI.. for the advanced meeting, was thinking on doing some
stuff with jqGrid, and the process for making a jQuery extension.

Sorry for not getting the meeting syllabus up on here yet, just been
distracted with other things (work, family, hospital visit, etc).
There will indeed be a meeting on Monday, and hoping to have a nice
presentation/discussion on JS. The second meeting for the month
should be very fun as well.

If you're coming to the meeting Monday, there isn't a sponsor so the
thinking is that if everyone kicks in $5 can order pizza for a mid-
meeting break. I'll foot the bill for a few packs of soda for the
meeting.

this (below). Rob Richardson is set up to do this, I understand. Just in
case anyone expected otherwise ...

Im on the AZ PHP list and they are displaying messages for this group
including the meeting tonight. I haven't been to any meetings yet and
have no knowledge of javascript. How beginner is this meeting going to
be and would it benefit me to go to the meeting or should I wait for
something for absolute js beginners? Thank you.
