Monday, May 3rd - Show & tell (this coming Monday)
Monday, May 17th - Building an application with jQueryUI (two weeks).
We've lost our presenter for both meetings in May, what does everyone think
about doing a show and tell? Impress your friends, and amaze your enemies. ;)
I can show some things I've been doing to improve application loads on a web
based application (it's server-side C#, but the techniques would apply to any
server-side framework). Also, I could show some JavaScript library files I've
been working on.
If anyone has anything they'd like to discuss, they're more than welcome.
Maybe on the followup meeting the presentation could continue with jQuery, and
maybe build up an application (or starting one) utilizing jQueryUI, since the
group hasn't gotten that far into the rabbit hole. Beyond that, recent polls
have shown that about 60-70% of web devs are now using jQuery. If someone
else wants to take the reigns on the second May meeting, they are welcome to
do so.
